Swansea City have decided not to appeal the red card shown to winger Nathan Dyer in the club's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
The 24-year-old was given his marching orders at the DW Stadium for a challenge on Latics midfielder Jordi Gomez, and will therefore miss games against Manchester City, Everton and Fulham.
A statement on the club's official website read: 'While the club feels the red card was extremely harsh, under the current guidelines issued to referees it was felt that the risk of Dyer's suspension being increased from three games to four or more was too great."
Dyer has struck three goals in the league this season.
