Rotherham United have lost their second pre-season match of the summer with a 2-1 defeat at Conference North side Tamworth.
The hosts took the lead with just three minutes on the clock when Kayden Jackson pounced on a defensive error by Craig Morgan before slotting in.
However, Rotherham drew level seven minutes later as Jordan Bowery rose highest inside the penalty area to head in Ben Pringles's corner.
The visitors created more chances towards the end of the first half, but Kieran Agard squandered three good opportunities.
Rotherham were made to pay for their wastefulness in front of goal early after the restart when a Tamworth triallist found the net with a quickly-taken free kick.
Steve Evans's side came within inches of grabbing an equaliser late on, only for Morgan's header to be kept out by the goalkeeper.
