Roma manager Rudi Garcia has downplayed Francesco Totti's angry reaction to be substituted during Sunday's 3-0 victory over Torino.
The veteran striker showed his displeasure on the touchline when he was replaced by Mattia Destro in the 71st minute, but the Frenchman insists that he has smoothed things over with the player.
"He's my best player and I don't want him to get injured," Garcia told Sky Sports News.
"In my view it was right to ensure he's rested. He would be suspended against Atalanta anyway, but the fact we have him for the six big games in a row is great news for us.
"I explained that to him in the locker room and it was fine."
The win moved Roma to within three points of Serie A leaders Juventus.
