Parma have picked up important three points in their battle to avoid relegation from Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Torino in Turin.
However, the visitors had to endure some nervous moments early on in the game, Nicola Pavarini saving Mattia Darmian's strike before keeping out Riccardo Meggiorini's drive from outside the box.
Gianluca Sansone had a great chance to put Torino in the lead on 10 minutes, but his free header from close range went over the crossbar.
Minutes later Amauri forced Jean-Francois Gillet into making an important save at the near post and then the striker shot over the crossbar in the 17th minute.
Parma began to control proceedings soon after and gained a one-man advantage in the 53rd minute when Gianluca Sansone was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Nicola Sansone put the visitors ahead on 72 minutes when he shot home with his left foot and a minute later Amauri made up for his earlier miss with a firm header from an Aleandro Rosi cross.
Rosi himself found the target on 88 minutes when he tapped in from just yards out, and Migjen Xhevat Basha scored a consolation for Torino in the second minute of injury time.
