Torino have been denied their third victory of the Serie A campaign in stoppage time, with Eder's late penalty enough to earn struggling Sampdoria a 2-2 draw.
Sampdoria started much brighter than the visitors and took a deserved lead just before the break through Gianluca Sansone, who found space to drive home after a fine run from deep.
The hosts thought that they had doubled their advantage in first-half stoppage time when Nicola Pozzi tapped in from close range, but the referee had already blown for half time just seconds before.
Torino made the most of that let-off and looked a different team after the break, equalising when Ciro Immobile showed a poacher's instinct in the penalty area.
With 14 minutes left, Torino got sealed all three points from the penalty spot, with Cerci stepping up to confidently put the visitors ahead.
There was still time for further late drama, though, as Sampdoria were awarded a spot kick of their own in stoppage time.
Eder kept his cool and found the corner in the third minute of added time, helping Samp salvage a point with the final kick of the match.
