Montreal Impact have beaten FC Toronto 2-1 at Stade Olympique this evening.
Robert Earnshaw's second-half strike was not enough for Toronto as the home side took the lead through Patrice Bernier before Marco Di Vaio grabbed the second just before half time.
Bernier converted from the penalty spot after 34 minutes, with former Juventus striker Di Vaio rounding the Toronto keeper after receiving a through-ball from Davy Arnaud in first-half injury time to double the home side's lead.
Former Wales international Earnshaw grabbed one back for the visitors after 68 minutes, but they were unable to force an equaliser.
