There's only a handful of weeks remaining before the football season gets underway on UK shores and abroad, but transfer news continues to dominate the headlines.

The window will be open for business until September 2, meaning that there is plenty of time for clubs to strengthen their squads further.

Rest assured that we will keep you up to date with all the latest developments as they happen.

Fulham have reportedly made an improved third offer for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk. Recent speculation has suggested that the Londoners have recently seen £2.5m and £3m bids for the 23-year-old rejected by their Championship counterparts.

Inter Milan have reportedly agreed a deal with Wolfsburg for the signing of Croatian international Ivan Perisic on a long-term contract. The 26-year-old joined Wolfsburg from Borussia Dortmund in 2013 and has netted 20 times in 84 games for the German outfit.
Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Bordeaux striker Diego Nolan. The Premier League outfit are expected to be in the market for a new striker this summer when Christian Benteke finally completes his move to Liverpool.

Charlie Austin's future has been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, and Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has given a clue over the striker's next destination. More now on the story that broke yesterday, which saw Patrick Bamford move to Crystal Palace from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal. The striker has been speaking about his move to Selhurst Park, stating that it was an easy decision for him to link up with the Eagles.
Liverpool fans, this one's for you! As you well know, Christian Benteke is closing in on a move to Anfield after the Reds reportedly agreed to pay Aston Villa the striker's £32.5m buyout clause last week. According to Sky Sports News, the transfer will be completed today. The 24-year-old Belgian will become Liverpool's seventh signing of the summer if everything goes to plan.

It appears as though the arrivals of Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and Patrick Roberts aren't enough for Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri. The Frenchman has called on his club to sign a "couple more" players. Time will tell if Nasri gets his wish.
