Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo remains confident that his team will progress from their Champions League group this season.
Los Che opened their Group H campaign with a 3-2 home defeat to Zenit St Petersburg earlier this month, but will have the chance to put three points on the board when they travel to Lyon on Tuesday.
Negredo has warned Los Che of the dangers awaiting them in France, but has said that the Spanish team have the credentials to record maximum points.
"Lyon are very powerful physically, but we have our own strengths and know that we have to give 100% in order to get the three points," Negredo told reporters.
"Despite not starting well [in the Champions League] with the home defeat to Zenit, Valencia still have time to correct the situation and qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League. We still have to play the return fixture against Zenit and anything can happen."
Valencia last competed in the group stages of the Champions League in the 2012-13 season, when they reached the last 16.
