Valencia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi is confident that his side can cope with the loss of first-choice goalkeeper Diego Alves.
The Brazilian has been ruled out of action for the next month or so with a torn hamstring, but Pizzi has insisted that Vicente Guaita is an able deputy between the sticks.
"The absence of any player is important, we don't exactly have a large squad and we're constantly playing every few days," Inside Spanish Football quotes Pizzi as telling reporters at a press conference.
"We can use several players in different outfield positions, but we've also got the goalkeeping position well covered, whether it's Diego or Guaita, so we're fine."
Valencia face Almeria on Thursday evening.
