Two goals from Gerard Moreno have helped secure Villarreal a 3-0 victory over Cadiz in the Copa del Rey.
Despite leading by just the one goal after the first leg, Villarreal would have been confident of having an easy night's work against the minnows, but they struggled to create chances during the opening quarter of the game.
However, as the half progressed, they began to find their feet as Javier Espinosa fired off target after the ball had found its way to the edge of the area from a corner.
Moreno and Nahuel Leiva also wasted openings, but Cadiz were holding their own with Gerardo Navarrete threatening the goal with a couple of speculative efforts from distance.
The La Liga side upped the pressure at the start of the second half and it wasn't long before they went in front. After Kike Lopez had hauled down Jaume Costa inisde the penalty area, Manu Trigueros converted the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
That goal rocked Cadiz and despite their best efforts, Villarreal looked likely to extend their lead as Bruno fired marginally over and Giovani dos Santos drew a save out of Ricardo Alonso Garcia.
The second goal finally arrived with 11 minutes remaining when Moi Gomez provided the assist for Moreno to coolly find the back of the net from 10 yards but the scoring wasn't complete at Estadio El Madrigal.
Moreno notched his second of the night after meeting Costa's centre to cap off a solid display over the two legs.
