Watford skipper Troy Deeney has admitted that he thought his side had blown their chance to win their Premier League clash against Swansea City.
The Hornets secured their first win of the top-flight campaign as Odion Ighalo's strike was enough to guide Quique Flores's men to the victory, even though Deeney has conceded that he believed that the victory was beyond them after early missed chances.
"After the first half, I thought it was going to be one of those games where we had a load of chances and we would draw the game," he told Sky Sports News.
"We did well, though, and thankfully I got the assist for Ighalo to score. It's a great win and we will enjoy it, but we are back to work tomorrow for training."
Watford are 13th in the Premier League after five matches this season.
