Watford striker Odion Ighalo has talked up the "connection" between himself and strike partner Troy Deeney following his side's 3-0 triumph over Liverpool this afternoon.
Ighalo made it 12 for the season and 28 for the calendar year with a brace at Vicarage Road, the first of which was set up by his captain.
The duo have created more goalscoring chances for each other than any other combination in the Premier League this season, and Ighalo acknowledged that they are working well together.
"From the first minute you could see that we were after the first goal. We had no fear," he told Sky Sports News.
"I just make runs in behind and I know that Troy can find me. We have a connection."
Ighalo and Deeney have accounted for 17 of Watford's 21 league goals this season.
Meanwhile, today's result was Watford's fourth consecutive victory and takes them to within one point of the top four.
