Goals from Almen Abdi and Fernando Forestieri handed Watford a 2-1 win over high-flying Leicester City this afternoon.
The hosts took the lead after just 12 minutes when Forestieri and Troy Deeney linked up well to set up Abdi, who proceeded to slide the ball past the keeper.
Leicester came close to netting an equaliser after half an hour when Wes Morgan's header was goalbound, but Jonathan Hogg did well to clear it off the line.
It was Watford who got the second goal, however, when Forestieri was quickest to react to Daniel Pudil's parried shot, turning the ball home.
Leicester grabbed a goal back just five minutes later courtesy of David Nugent, who controlled the ball before firing his side back into the match.
The Foxes' chances of getting an equaliser took a blow with just over five minutes of normal time left as Zak Whitbread was shown a second yellow card for a trip on Matej Vydra.
