Inter Milan's Ashley Young is reportedly keen to return to Watford when he calls time on his Nerazzurri career.
The former Manchester United man has made 11 Serie A starts under Antonio Conte as Inter chase Scudetto glory, with the Nerazzurri currently three points clear of bitter rivals AC Milan at the top with a game in hand.
Young, now 35, came through the youth ranks at Watford before moving to Aston Villa in 2007, and the wing-back is supposedly desperate to return to Vicarage Road for the 2021-22 campaign.
The Mirror reports that Young wants to lift the Serie A crown at Inter this season before heading back to Watford in the summer, with his San Siro deal due to expire in June.
The report adds that Young will have no qualms about playing in the Championship so long as he gets to don the yellow jersey again, and the England international wants to finish his career at Vicarage Road near his family.
Young has totalled 51 appearances for Inter since arriving in 2020, chalking up four goals and seven assists across all competitions.
