West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has revealed that he was pleased with his team's resilience during Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal in the Premier League.
Claudio Yacob put the Baggies ahead at The Hawthorns, but they were unable to hold on as Jack Wilshere netted midway through the second half to secure a point for the visitors.
"We've got a resilient team and had a similar situation last week where (Manchester) United equalised so we didn't rest on our laurels and tried to win the game which made it nerve wracking on the bench if I'm honest," BBC Sport quotes Clarke as saying.
"I think if you watch the game from the start, both sides tried to play good football and we had to concentrate to nullify the opposition. You could see the tiredness at the end but that's part and parcel of this league."
West Brom continue their Premier League campaign on October 19 when they make the trip to Stoke City.
