Steve Clarke has said that West Bromwich Albion's performance in their opening game of the season was not enough for the club's supporters.
The Baggies lost 1-0 to Southampton earlier this month, but secured a point against Everton last week before beating Newport County in the Capital One Cup earlier this week.
The manager told the club's website: "We need to improve because we're playing against a very good side in Swansea, who have again invested a lot of money in their squad.
"The players are desperate because we know we didn't give the supporters enough in the first game and we want to make sure the supporters have something to shout about this weekend."
West Brom play Swansea City on Sunday.
