West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that his side's goalless draw with Aston Villa was a fair result.
Despite an open game at the Hawthorns, neither team could find the decisive breakthrough against their local rivals.
"I would have been proud if we had won the game," Hodgson told Sky Sports News. "But it was certainly a strange 0-0.
"There were certainly a number of chances on both sides, and if it had ended 2-2 or 3-3 it would have been more appropriate. It was not an unfair result."
The point has kept the Baggies 10th in the Premier League table, while 15th-placed Villa remain in a relegation battle.
