West Bromwich Albion chief executive Mark Jenkins insists that the Baggies board is "leaving no stone unturned" in dragging the club out of the doldrums.

West Bromwich Albion chief executive Mark Jenkins has stressed that the club is "leaving no stone unturned" in recovering from this season's dismal campaign.

The Baggies have won just three Premier League games this season and have scored 26 goals, the joint lowest total in the league.

As a result, West Brom sit bottom of the table, 10 points from safety with five games left to play, and are tipped for relegation into the Championship.

Several changes have been made off the pitch at The Hawthorns in recent weeks, the latest seeing former Fenerbahce director Giuliano Terraneo replace Nick Hammond as technical consultant.

"I want to assure our supporters that we're leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to ensure we recover from this very disappointing campaign," Jenkins told the official West Brom website.

"We need to change the culture and the direction of the club and we need to do it in a way which is sustainable for the long term.

"We welcome Giuliano who will bring fresh eyes and vision to the task of squad development and future recruitment.

"From my discussions with the owners already, I know there is a genuine desire to build a team with greater goal power and attacking threat which can capture the fans' imagination."

Jenkins returned to the club in February after chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman were sacked by owner Guochuan Lai.
