Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy is allegedly interested in the vacant managerial post at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Republic of Ireland head coach is due to leave Portman Road at the end of the season and, according to Sky Sports News, is keen to hold talks at The Hawthorns.
West Brom, who are on the brink of relegation from the Premier League, recently parted company with manager Alan Pardew following a winless run of 10 matches.
The Baggies have placed Darren Moore in charge on an interim basis, and are expected to wait until the end of the season before appointing his permanent successor.
Leicester City assistant manager Michael Appleton and Brentford boss Dean Smith were previously tipped as frontrunners for the position.
