West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has hailed the impact of new signing Darren Fletcher.
The Scotland captain joined the club on a free transfer from Manchester United in January, and he has immediately slotted into Albion's midfield.
Pulis told reporters: "On and off the pitch he's been very good. Like I said it wasn't just a signing for the 90 minutes on a Saturday, it was a signing to bring someone into the football club who has got good standards and been brought up the right way.
"He's a winner and you need a few of them in your dressing room. Ask any manager up and down the country it's lovely to have people like that around you."
West Brom face West Ham United in the FA Cup fifth round tomorrow.
