Tony Pulis has admitted that it was disappointing his West Bromwich Albion players were not rewarded with all three points in their dramatic 2-2 draw on Sunday.
The Baggies were on course for an impressive win at Anfield until Divock Origi's deflected strike in stoppage time rescued a point for the hosts, but Pulis was keen to reveal his delight with the performance.
"We're disappointed," the West Brom boss told reporters. "We showed great resilience and to get done with a deflected goal in the eighth minute of stoppage time is particularly disappointing for the players.
"I can't fault the players. To come to a place like this with their budget, players and standing, we shouldn't be in their league."
The draw with Liverpool extends West Brom's unbeaten run to four games.
