West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has said that it is "smashing" to see Brown Ideye's hard work paying off.
The Nigerian striker netted a brace as the Baggies thrashed West Ham United 4-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Ideye has now netted four goals in three games for the West Midlands outfit, and when asked about his upturn in form, Pulis told The Independent: "It's confidence – that's all it is.
"Confidence is everything. He got that goal last week [at Burnley] and has gone on. We're delighted.
"You could not work with a nicer guy. He has been desperate to do well and it is smashing to see him enjoying the fruits of his labours."
Ideye joined West Brom from Dynamo Kiev last summer.
