Mainz have recorded their second win of the Bundesliga season with a 2-0 victory at Wolfsburg.
The visitors went ahead on 26 minutes when Junior Diaz met Andreas Ivanschitz's cross to head past Diego Benaglio.
Ivanschitz was involved in Mainz's second goal 10 minutes later as he teed up Adam Szalai to convert.
The home side dominated much of the second half but they were unable to get themselves back in the match as Diego, Emanuel Pogatetz and Naldo were all off target.
The win has lifted Mainz up to 11th in the table, while Wolfsburg slip to 16th.
