French champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly submitted a £34m offer to Zenit St Petersburg for their midfielder Axel Witsel.
The Belgium international joined his Russian employers from Benfica last September in a deal thought to be worth around £32m.
However, reports have claimed that the 24-year-old has failed to settle in at Zenit and PSG are now hoping to capitalise on the situation, according to Belgian newspaper Sudpresse.
Witsel's contract is not due to expire until the summer of 2017.
