Argentina goalkeeper Willy Caballero has received a barrage of abuse online after committing a blunder during his team's 3-0 defeat to Croatia at the World Cup finals.
The Chelsea stopper gifted the opening goal to Ante Rebic on an evening to forget for Jorge Sampaoli's charges, and he has since been targeted by social media trolls as a result.
According to The Sun, some of the abuse aimed at Caballero on Instagram has included threats towards his wife and two daughters Guillermina and Aitana.
Argentina still have slim hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase of the competition ahead of their final group match against Nigeria.
Sampaoli's men are third in Group D with one point from their two matches played.
