A Celtic fan has been banned from every football ground in the UK after confronting Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe in Tuesday's Champions League encounter between the two clubs.
John Hatton, from Belfast, jumped over a metal railing and ran onto the pitch at Celtic Park on Tuesday night before assaulting the PSG forward by attempting to kick him.
The incident happened in the 40th minute of the game after Edinson Cavani scored the third goal for the visitors, with the match ultimately ending in a 5-0 defeat for the Hoops.
On Wednesday, Hatton appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty to assault - although he did not actually connect with Mbappe - and to behaviour likely to incite public disorder.
Hatton was granted bail and sentence was deferred on him until October 11 for background reports.
Celtic have been charged by UEFA following the pitch invasion.
