Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first athlete to reach 100 million Facebook followers.
The 29-year-old, who clinched the Ballon d'Or for the second time in his career earlier this year, recently surpassed 30 million followers on Twitter.
The Portugal captain has now been boosted on social media even further after he secured 100 million followers on his official Facebook account.
Ronaldo, who has almost 30 million more fans on Facebook than his Barcelona rival Lionel Messi, released a video thanking those who helped him reached the milestone.
