Bath Rugby announce their squad for the Aviva Premiership clash with Harlequins, naming Sam Burgess among their replacements a full month ahead of schedule.

Sam Burgess could make his much-anticipated debut for Bath Rugby tomorrow night having been named on the bench for the clash against Harlequins.

The 25-year-old switched formats from rugby league to union earlier this year, although he was not expected to feature for another month having recently suffered a cheekbone and eye socket fracture.

However, Burgess, who rounded off his time at former side South Sydney Rabbitohs by winning the NRL Grand Final in October, is now deemed fit enough for a return to action.

In all, Harlequins have made three changes from last time out, with Ollie Devoto and Peter Stringer in line to make their 50th appearances for the club.

Bath Rugby team in full: Gavin Henson, Semesa Rokoduguni, Jonathan Joseph, Kyle Eastmond, Matt Banahan, Ollie Devoto, Chris Cook, Nick Auterac, Ross Batty, Henry Thomas, Stuart Hooper (c), Dominic Day, Matt Garvey, David Sisi, Leroy Houston

Replacements: Tom Dunn, Paul James, Kane Palma-Newport, Charlie Ewels, Carl Fearns, Peter Stringer, Sam Burgess, Horacio Agulla
