Three late tries sealed the win for Exter Chiefs in their LV= Cup tie with London Welsh this afternoon.
A quiet first half saw few try-scoring opportunities for either side, with only Will Carrick-Smith crossing the try-line.
Errors by Chiefs gave Welsh three penalties in the first half, allowing them to take a 9-8 lead into the break.
Exeter regained the lead early in the second half with a penalty before Mark Foster extended the lead by scoring Chiefs' second try of the game.
More mistakes by the visitors' defence allowed Welsh to kick their way back into the game.
However, the Exeter attack was too strong for the home side, running in four tries in the last 15 minutes, securing a convincing win and a bonus point for Chiefs.
