A strong second-half performance has given Exeter Chiefs a 47-16 win over London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
The sides were evenly matched in the opening 20 minutes, Gareth Steenson and Gavin Henson both kicking three penalties.
A Jack Yeandle try towards the end of the first half ensured that the hosts took the lead at half time.
The game continued to be close after the restart, as Tom Hayes added a second try for Exeter, before Phil MacKenzie went over for the Exiles.
However, a dominant spell for the Chiefs saw them pull away from their opponents, Damian Welch, Sireli Naqelevuki and Jack Nowell all adding to the score for the home side.
The win leaves Exeter eighth in the table, while London Welsh sit 10th.
