Two second-half tries helped Northampton Saints to secure a win over Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
The visitors were the stronger of the two sides in the first half, a Ken Pisi try the difference between the two sides at half time.
However, Exeter were able to reduce Northampton's lead before the break with a penalty after Dylan Hartley killed the ball, which saw the hooker finish the first half in the sin bin.
Saints opened up their lead with 20 minutes left when Soane Tonga'uiha crossed the whitewash for Northampton's second try of the game.
Sireli Naqelevuki brought the home side back into the game late on, but a late try from GJ van Velze sealed the win for Northampton.
The win moves Saints above Gloucester in the table into fourth, while Exeter remain seventh.
