Sale Sharks have won their fifth-successive away game to secure a European Rugby Champions Cup spot, defeating Exeter Chiefs 55-12 at Sandy Park.
The visitors stormed into a strong lead courtesy of tries from Michael Paterson, Tom Arscott and Sam Tuitupou in the opening 30 minutes, while Danny Cipriani successfully kicked over two of the three conversions to cement the cushion.
Fetu Vainikolo crossed the whitewash to pull one back for Exeter, but Sale asserted their dominance by adding try number four on 55 minutes through Tuitupou.
Dwayne Peel, David Seymour and Tom Brady all crossed over within the space of 10 second-half minutes to ensure Sale further extended their commanding lead.
Carl Rimmer pulled back a consolation try for the home side, but Sale were not finished, and Andrei Ostrikov rounded off the scoring late on with a try of his own.
