Gloucester recorded a 29-3 home win over Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership this lunchtime.
A scrappy first half saw Gloucester open up a 15-point lead after 24 minutes through five Freddie Burns penalties.
Danny Cipriani reduced the gap to twelve points, kicking a penalty just before the break.
There was a worry for Gloucester at the start of the second half when Huia Edmonds was stretchered off with a nasty looking injury. The opening 20 minutes of the second half were otherwise quiet, with few chances for either side.
The home team extended their lead after 62 minutes through a Akapusi Qera try and a penalty try six minutes from full-time completed a comfortable win for Gloucester.
It moves Gloucester up to third in the table, while Sale remain bottom.
