Grenoble have secured their first win in this season's European Rugby Challenge Cup, thrashing Rovigo 68-10 this evening.
The home side had the better of their opponents from the start, with Laurent Bouchet opening the scoring inside the first five minutes.
Having already fallen behind, Rovigo were further hampered by Edoardo Lubian's sin-binning midway through the first half, allowing Benjamin Thiery to cross the line twice before the break.
Grenoble continued to dominate after the break, with Robinson Care, Loick Jammes and Thibault Rey all going over as the home side finished the night with 10 tries.
James Hart had a strong night with the kicking duties, making seven of eight conversion attempts before being replaced for the final 10 minutes.
The result lifts Grenoble off the bottom of Pool One, and leaves Rovigo without a win in Europe this season.
