Exeter Chiefs put on a strong display in the second half against Harlequins to register a 27-16 win in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
An early Ugo Monye try gave the hosts thelead, but three penalties from Gareth Steenson kept Exeter in touch at half time.
The sides were well-matched at the start of the second half, with Steenson and Ben Botica each adding two penalties, leaving Quins just one point ahead.
A strong spell from Chiefs inside the final 15 minutes resulted in tries from Damien Welch and Luke Arscott, giving the visitors an 11-point advantage heading into the final five minutes.
Harlequins stay top of the table despite the loss, while Exeter remain eighth.
