Ulster have made it six wins from six in Pool 5 of the Heineken Cup with a narrow 22-19 victory over Leicester Tigers on Saturday evening.
There was nothing to choose between the teams throughout the match and indeed the first half was a penalty-kicking competition.
Toby Flood scored twice inside the first 11 minutes to put his side 6-0 ahead, before he and Ruan Pienaar exchanged three more with Pienaar's third bringing the teams level at the half.
After another Flood kick, Leicester scored what was looking to be a crucial try through Niall Morris, but the visiting Ulster were not done yet.
Pienaar took matters into his own hands later in the half, with a penalty, a try and then a conversion levelling matters before a final three points with 10 minutes to play, which left Leicester hoping that they would be one of the two best losers.
