Brian Smith has said that he is delighted that London Irish have moved out of the bottom two in the Aviva Premiership following their 30-19 win over London Wasps earlier today.
The Exiles have climbed above London Welsh to move away from the bottom of the table following the victory.
The side's director of rugby told BBC Sport: "I'm delighted to get the win as we felt we needed to win all our home games.
"We've beaten Saracens and Wasps at home and we have three more against the bottom sides to go. We hope to win them and scrounge whatever we can away.
"We are giantkillers at home but in the summer we'll have to work out what's holding us back on the road."
Irish have now won three of their last four matches in the league.
