London Wasps survived a late surge from Gloucester to take a 33-29 win in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
An evenly-matched first half saw the home side head in at half time with a slender three-point lead, Dan Robson and Ashley Johnson both scoring tries in the opening 40 minutes.
Mike Tindall put the visitors ahead shortly after the restart with Gloucester's second try of the game, but Christian Wade added to the score for Wasps to restore their lead following a lively start to the second half.
A strong spell from the hosts resulted in another try, Billy Vunipola taking the ball across the whitewash, putting Wasps 13 points ahead with just over 10 minutes left on the clock.
Wasps coasted towards the end of the match, allowing Ryan Mills and Charlie Sharples to reduce the gap for Gloucester, but the strong finish came too late to overturn the home side's lead.
The win helps Wasps keep the pressure on the top three and increase the gap to fifth in the table.
