All Blacks prop Ben Franks has signed for the Wellington Hurricanes from the Christchurch Crusaders.
Franks requested the move after falling behind Wyatt Crockett and his brother Owen in the Crusaders' pecking order.
"This is a new and exciting opportunity for me. I am really looking forward to joining Mark and the team next year," said Franks.
Franks is currently on tour with New Zealand in Argentina.
