Newcastle Falcons have beat London Irish 13-11 at Kingston Park this afternoon.
Ofisa Treviranus went over the line for the visiting Irish after 12 minutes before Rory Clegg kicked the Falcons into a 6-5 lead just after the half-hour mark.
Ian Humphreys scored a penalty to give Irish an 8-6 lead just before the break, before missing an easier chance minutes after the restart.
Adam Powell turned the tide in the the Falcons' favour when he scored a try after after 65 minutes, before Phil Godman added the points with a penalty.
Humphreys then had a chance to win the game for Irish in the last minute, but his effort fell just short, to hand the home the win.
