Leicester Tigers have cruised to a 41-18 win over Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership.
The hosts had the brighter start of the two sides, with Noah Cato smashing his way through the Leicester defence for a 10th-minute try.
However, Vereniki Goneva managed to hit back just before the break, leaving Tigers with a one-point advantage heading into half time.
The match remained close for the first 20 minutes of the second half, but the defending champions started to dominate possession and managed to add three more tries before full time, including a second for Goneva.
Falcons had the chance to get back into the contest, with Ben Youngs and Manu Tuilagi both spending time in the sin bin, but the hosts were unable to make it count.
The result moves Leicester up to fourth in the table, while Newcastle sit 11th.
