A strong second-half performance from Northampton Saints gave them a 40-14 win over London Irish in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
Samu Manoa scored a try late in the first half to give Northampton a narrow lead at half time following a close opening 40 minutes.
Soane Tonga'uiha extended the hosts' lead with a try at the start of the second half, before two quick scores from GJ van Velze and Jamie Elliott left Saints in control of the match.
Guy Armitage scored late on for the Exiles, but Elliott was able to cross the whitewash again to complete his hat-trick and inflict a heavy defeat on the visitors.
