Harlequins have returned to the top of the Aviva Premiership table with victory over Northampton Saints.
The low-scoring tie saw Quins take a 6-3 lead at half-time through two Nick Evans penalties.
The Saints had a dominant spell partway through the second half after the visitors were reduced to 14 men when James Johnston was sin-binned, but failed to find the try line, adding just three points to their score.
Evans continued to show his strong kicking form, completing a total of six successful penalties.
The win means the away side climb back to the top, having been replaced by Saracens who played earlier today.
