Saracens claimed a win over Worcester Warriors in a closely-fought LV= Cup match this afternoon.

Mistakes from the Warriors gave Saracens a series of penalties in the second half, Ben Spencer proving clinical with the boot to open up a lead for the visitors.

Josh Draunininiu had a chance to get the home side back in the match, but his run for the try line was blocked just short.

The win ensures that Saracens will progress from the pool stage of the tournament, topping pool three, while Worcester are bottom of pool two.
