Toulon head coach Bernard Laporte has hailed Jonny Wilkinson for his match-winning performance against Saracens that secured his side a place in the Heineken Cup final.
The 33-year-old kicked all of the French outfit's points as they beat Sarries 24-12 at Twickenham on Sunday.
The win sets up a clash with Clermont Auvergne in the final, and Laporte is already relishing the meeting.
"Jonny was huge today," Laporte told Sky Sports News. "Great players win great matches and today that was the case.
"Our English players were extremely good and wanted to show in their homeland that they are not finished. Jonny is a great player and has been for a long time.
"Clermont are a benchmark - they are excellent. But I don't think we are particularly bad and we look forward to playing them in the final."
The final takes place in Dublin on May 18.
