Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli has insisted that Amelie Mauresmo is the "perfect person" to help Andy Murray in his quest to retain the men's singles title.
The former Grand Slam winner will coach the number three seed, initially for the grass court season only. Bartoli, who was coached by Mauresmo during her career, believes that her fellow Frenchwoman will put the British number one at ease.
"Amelie is someone who is able to take all the stress away and make you feel extremely comfortable," Bartoli is quoted by BBC Sport as saying.
"She prepares you for the worst and gives you some advice in order to deal with that, so when you start to face that situation you are ready.
"I really felt she was a tremendous help to me last year, especially in the final and semi-final."
Bartoli beat Sabine Lisicki in last year's final to lift the crown at SW19.
