Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has admitted that his side were not good enough offensively during last night's 27-17 defeat to the Denver Broncos.
The Chiefs struggled to find a way past the Broncos defense on the way to their first loss of the season as well as failing to make an impact defensively themselves, with Peyton Manning going through the entire match without being sacked.
Reid accepted the responsibility for his side's performance and vowed to pick them up and get them ready for next week's match against the San Diego Chargers.
"We didn't do a good enough job offensively. That's my responsibility. We're a young football team. We'll get it worked out and fixed and get better next week," Reid told The AP.
The Chiefs and the Broncos are now tied at the top of the AFC West, each with a 9-1 record.
