Thiago Silva has put an end to speculation linking him with a move to Paris-Saint Germain by signing a new contract with AC Milan.
Reports claimed that French club PSG were willing to part with £40m in order to capture the services of the Brazilian international.
However, the 27-year-old has insisted that his sole focus is on making "history" with Milan.
"I want to make history in Milan, like Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini," he told the club's official website after agreeing to fresh terms.
The new deal will keep Silva at the San Siro until 2017.
