Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Philadelphia Union vs. Inter Miami.

Atlanta vs. Houston (Sunday, 12.30am)

Atlanta United FC are set to host Houston Dynamo FC at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday in a cross-conference showdown that could prove pivotal in each sides' quest to qualify for the MLS Cup.

The home side are in 13th place with 16 points in the Eastern Conference, while the visitors are seventh in the Western Conference with 22, but both have been in poor form of late.

We say: Atlanta United 1-4 Houston Dynamo

Houston and Atlanta have both struggled for form recently, but given the sheer number of absentees that Atlanta have to contend with it is fair to say that they could struggle on Sunday.

Additionally, this fixture has a history of high-scoring encounters so fans could be in for an entertaining clash.

Charlotte FC vs. DC United (Sunday, 12.30am)

Charlotte FC play host to DC United on Saturday night looking for the win that will keep them in close proximity to the top four in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the visitors head into this contest searching for the victory that could move them back into the playoff spots.

We say: Charlotte FC 2-1 DC United

Although DC United possess a poor defensive record, they have shown enough going forward to suggest that they could trouble Charlotte. Nevertheless, we are backing the home side to edge this contest by the odd goal in three, keeping pace with the chasing pack.

Montreal vs. Salt Lake (Sunday, 12.30am)

Real Salt Lake will visit Saputo Stadium for the first time since 2019 as they resume their MLS campaign on Saturday against CF Montreal.

Before the international break, Le CFM claimed a 2-2 draw with the Philadelphia Union, while RSL thumped Austin FC by a 5-1 score.

We say: CF Montreal 1-2 Real Salt Lake

Salt Lake have been resilient throughout the season, and the addition of Chicho has made a massive difference, while Le CFM do not have a match-winner in the same class as Arango.

New England vs. Vancouver (Sunday, 12.30am)

For the first time since 2019, the Vancouver Whitecaps will visit Gillette Stadium on Saturday to face the New England Revolution in an MLS match.

The Revs remain at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table despite a 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls the last time out, while the Whitecaps beat the Colorado Rapids 2-1, moving into fifth out West.

We say: New England Revolution 1-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

Both sides are in good form while playing strong defensively, and we expect that trend to continue on Saturday, with neither having a decisive edge.

NY Red Bulls vs. Nashville (Sunday, 12.30am)

Fourth-placed New York Red Bulls are set to host ninth-placed Nasville SC at the Red Bull arena on Sunday in MLS' Eastern Conference.

After 17 games the home side have 29 points and are just six from first-placed Inter Miami while also having a game in hand, whereas the visitors have 19 and are in a battle to retain their position in their conference's final MLS Cup playoff spot.

We say: New York Red Bulls 2-2 Nashville SC

New York Red Bulls have had a better season than Nashville so far, but the sheer number of absentees as a result of international duty and injury could be to the away side's benefit.

Additionally, both teams have been vulnerable defensively at times this campaign, and this could make for an entertaining game on Sunday.

Orlando City vs. Los Angeles (Sunday, 12.30am)

Los Angeles FC will be looking to keep the pressure on the Western Conference leaders when they face Orlando City on Saturday night.

At a time when the visitors are second in that division, Orlando are down in 11th position in the Eastern Conference table.

We say: Orlando City 1-2 Los Angeles FC

Although Orlando have home advantage in their favour, we cannot ignore the resurgence of Los Angeles FC of late. They may have to work hard for their win, but the visitors should collect three points nevertheless.

Philadelphia vs. Inter Miami (Sunday, 12.30am)

Following the international break, the Philadelphia Union and Inter Miami will resume their MLS campaigns when they square off on Saturday at Subaru Park.

In their previous league contest, the Union played to a third successive draw, 2-2, against CF Montreal, while the Supporters' Shield leaders claimed a 3-3 draw with St Louis City.

We say: Philadelphia Union 2-2 Inter Miami

Even if the Miami superstars are unavailable, the other players on this squad have stepped up all season when called upon, and we believe they will do so this weekend.

The Union are playing well but struggling to find that little bit extra, which can make the difference between one point and three.

Toronto vs. Chicago Fire (Sunday, 12.30am)

On Saturday, Toronto will host the Chicago Fire at BMO Field in the first match of a two-game homestand for the Canadians in MLS.

In their previous domestic affair, the Reds squandered a 2-0 lead, playing to a 2-2 draw with DC United, while the Fire came from behind to defeat the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1.

We say: Toronto 2-1 Chicago Fire

Toronto could be missing some solid contributors, but they are facing a Chicago side that look out of sync and unorganised behind the ball, which is why we believe the Reds will return to winning ways.

Dallas vs. St Louis City (Sunday, 1.30am)

With both sides aiming to narrow the gap up to the playoff places in the Major League Soccer Western Conference standings, FC Dallas will welcome St Louis City to the Toyota Stadium on Sunday.

The two teams are both winless in their last five league outings, with the hosts currently sat 13th and their visitors four points better off and three outside the top nine in 11th place.

We say: Dallas 1-1 St Louis City

In the midst of winless streaks, both teams will fight hard for a victory in Sunday's meeting, and we anticipate a tight contest with the hosts particularly keen to bounce back under new management.

We put the two sides on a fairly level playing field and see a low-scoring draw as the most likely outcome in Texas.

Colorado vs. Austin (Sunday, 2.30am)

Two sides who will be looking to find their feet square off in the MLS as Colorado Rapids play host to Austin FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Sunday morning.

Having failed to win the last three meetings between the two teams, the Verde and Black will head into the weekend looking to get one over the hosts and snap their run of back-to-back defeats.

We say: Colorado Rapids 2-1 Austin FC

Colorado Rapids and Austin have struggled to get going in recent weeks and will head into Saturday's clash in search of a pick-me-up. The Rapids have lost just one of their last six games against Austin, and given their solid home form, we see them coming away with a narrow win this weekend.

LA Galaxy vs. Kansas (Sunday, 3.30am)

Fresh off the back of ending their seven-match losing streak in the league, Sporting Kansas City journey to the Dignity Health Sports Park to face Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday.

The Galaxy head into the weekend as one of two Western Conference sides yet to lose a league game at home this season and will be looking to extend this impressive run.

We say: Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0 Sporting Kansas City

While Sporting Kansas City will be looking to pick up where they left off against Seattle, they face the stern challenge of taking on a LA Galaxy side who have been near-impenetrable at home this season. We predict Vanney's side will continue with their fine run at the Dignity Health Sports Park and claim all three points.

Earthquakes vs. Cincinnati (Sunday, 3.30am)

San Jose Earthquakes will be looking to end a run of four MLS matches without a victory when they welcome FC Cincinnati to PayPal Park on Saturday.

The away side, meanwhile, head to California aiming to get back to winning ways having seen their run of seven straight successes come to an end last time out.

We say: San Jose Earthquakes 1-2 FC Cincinnati

Given their respective league positions, it sounds inconceivable that San Jose have scored more goals than Cincinnati this term but the former have struggled massively at the back. We expect an open and end-to-end clash here with the visitors narrowly edging out their hosts to claim all three points in the end.

Seattle vs. Minnesota Utd (Sunday, 3.30am)

Minnesota United will set out to strengthen their standing in the Major League Soccer Western Conference's leading pack on Sunday, when they travel to Lumen Field to take on Seattle Sounders.

The visitors have moved back into the top three with a victory and a draw in their last two outings, while their hosts sit 10th with a three-point gap up to the playoff wildcard spots and a four-point gap to the top seven.

We say: Seattle Sounders 1-2 Minnesota United

Even with several notable absences throughout their squad, Minnesota United will travel to Seattle with plenty of confidence in the midst of a pleasing run of form, and we see them still having enough to take three more points against a home side lacking any momentum.
