Barcelona midfielder Xavi has admitted that he will be wary of the threat posed by AC Milan in Wednesday's Champions League tie.
The Catalan giants meet the seven-time European Cup winners in the last 16 of the competition and the World Cup winner believes that Milan will prove tough opposition for Barca.
"We are in a good period of form and have the utmost confidence, but we also
know how difficult this is going to be," Xavi told Sport.es.
"Milan are an Italian team with more Champions League trophies than we have
and historically always made things difficult for us.
"We have to compete and prove ourselves on the pitch."
The first leg of the last-16 tie will be at San Siro, with the return at Camp Nou on March 12.
